A delicate Zuni Petit Point Ring representing a turtle with 8 pieces of turquoise in a gradation of colors surrounding 1 central lighter stone in the middle. A classic floral design seen in many forms of Zuni jewelry creates the turtle's shell. Small rope work design outlines the edge of shell with a split double band for ring.

Turtles are a sacred figure in Native American symbolism representing Mother Earth. The Turtle signifies good health and long life, because they have great longevity in their own.

Hallmark reads JK Zuni, most likely a John Kallestewa piece of handmade jewelry. One of a kind ring made by a master artisan of Zuni Pueblo designs. Although it is not marked sterling, it has been previously tested as such.

Such a great piece to add to your Native American and/or turquoise collection. It's a very unique and rare piece to have found. I hope it goes to someone who will love and appreciate it for a very long time!

Size 4.75-5 US

Width approx .5" at widest spot

Length approx 5/8"

Note: I do not polish any of my pieces pre or post purchase. I believe it takes away the beauty of its past lives and vintage appeal.
